Vietnam’s government has promoted development in Phú Quốc with tax and land rent breaks for investors, policy changes and infrastructure improvements, including a new international airport earmarked for expansion. Local and international luxury hotel brands are pouring into the market, supplementing Phú Quốc’s small resorts and backpacker accommodations.“Millions of dollars are being spent on the island, invested for growth in tourism,” Corona Casino General Manager Goran Milosheski says. “The only way is up.”TRIAL RUNCorona particularly benefits from two policy changes.
